2008 Starlight Spectacular

On Saturday, June 21st, 2008, the Trails and Open Space Coalition is hosting its 14th annual midnight bicycle ride. Riders will travel through Garden of the Gods, downtown Colorado Springs and Old Colorado City before returning to the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center for giveaways and hot breakfast.

Garden of the Gods Reclamation Projects

Erosion is alive and well in the Garden of the Gods. We can do our part to keep our spectacular park from washing away by building check dams to slow runoffs and trap sediment. Burn some calories, work those muscles, turn that white T-shirt dirt red and sneak a peek at the peak. Bring a lunch and water, and the Rocky Mountain Field Institute will supply the rest.

Pikes Peak United Way

In its 15th year, the nation's largest volunteering event has hit its stride.This year the Pikes Peak Region will be making a difference in the Colorado Springs community.

Pancake Breakfast for the Coronado Alumni!

On a date yet to be determined, the Coronado Alumni Association is getting together for its first annual pancake breakfast. Spend time with old friends, while having a delicious breakfast. The money we collect will help fund future Alumni events and the rest will be going to charitable organizations in the Springs. The event will be held at 7:30 a.m. in the Coronado cafeteria. The cost will be $8. Hope to see you all there!
